What You Need to Know for Your Visit

- 250°F Wait...  What?

Don’t worry. It’s a dry chill. Three minutes in our state-of-the-art cryo chamber is easy to tolerate and safer than safe.

YOUR FIRST SESSION: You will be asked to fill out a short medical waiver. (Whole body cryotherapy is safe for almost everyone. Scroll down for a list of contraindications*.)

You will have your own dressing room with a fresh robe and towel. It is essential that your entire body is completely dry before entering the chamber. Catskill Cryo supplies sanitzied gloves, socks, and slippers to protect your hands and feet—body parts more vulnerable to cold temperature.

Guys: You must wear your underwear or sports shorts. Girls: You can wear your birthday suit, underwear, or sports shorts and top. Note: The more of your skin’s surface area that is exposed to the cold, the greater the benefits of whole body cryotherapy. Our space is designed for your comfort and privacy.

A Cats Cryo crew member will be with you, right outside the chamber, throughout your entire session. If at any moment you feel uncomfortable, just say so, and we will open the door and stop the session. (In fact, it is super easy for you to open the door yourself if you feel like you need to do that.)

After three minutes, you’ll return to your dressing room, get dressed and ask how soon you can do it again.
